Stretch Film
Stretch Film, also known as stretch film, is a high stretch, self-adhesive, and retractable plastic film that is the core packaging consumable for logistics and warehousing.

Core materials and processes:
1. Mainstream: LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), often mixed with LDPE and mLLDPE; Early on, there was PVC; Divided into cast and blow molding processes, the cast film has better transparency and flatness, making it suitable for machine use; Blow molded film has better puncture resistance.
2. Self adhesive: single-sided/double-sided, mostly adhesive between films (without residue), achieved by adding tackifiers or corona treatment.
3. Common specifications: mainly transparent, customizable in black/color; The thickness ranges from 12 μ m to 50 μ m; The stretching rate of the hand film is moderate, and the machine film can reach 300% -500%.

Function and purpose:
Secure the scattered goods on the pallet as a whole to prevent displacement, tipping, dust, moisture, and scratching; No heating required, both manual and machine can quickly wrap.
Advantages and Attention
1. Low cost: much lower than the combination of cardboard boxes and packing straps; High packaging efficiency and automation capability; PE material is recyclable.
2. Avoid excessive stretching: it will reduce strength and be prone to breakage; The recommended stretching ratios for hand and machine use are different.
